VISION ZERO CONSTRUCTION SECTOR LAUNCHED
zulusteven9@gmail.comWorkers’ Compensation Fund Control Board on 29th August 2024, successfully hosted the Vision Zero Construction Sectoral launch at David Livingstone Resort and Spa in Livingstone. The event that saw major players in the construction sector was graced by the Minister of Labour and Social Security Hon Brenda Tambatamba MP who challenged the construction sector to adhere to high safety standards in order to protect lives. Vision Zero is a transformational approach to prevention that integrates the three dimensions of safety, health and well-being at all levels of work. It is based on the assumption that all accidents, harm and work-related ill-health are preventable. In recent memory, there also been mini launches in the Agricultural, Mining and Tourism sectors
