Giving Compensation a Human Face

Workers’ Compensation Fund Control Board (WCFCB) has compensated the death of popular DJ Nano (Andrew Malonda) who died on January 6, 2021 of Covid-19. Mr Malonda was a resident DJ at Granddaddy’s Shoka Nyama chilling spot in Lusaka. He was among the people from Granddaddy’s who contracted the Corona virus. In the picture, WCFCB Commissioner and Chief Executive Officer Mrs Priscilla Bwembya hands over a Cheque to DJ Nano’s aunt Lyne Bright who represented the late DJ’s mother. DJ Nano died at 28 and was survived by no spouse and offspring. The Commissioner was accompanied by Head Communications and Customer Services Mr Maybin Nkholomba and Regional Manager South Mr John Bwalya
